Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films usually within the horror or martial arts genre a roughly similar beat that of The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as some morbid pleasure from these films. She began her reviews in late 2009; when she began to gain some recognition (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler was part of the family at Channel Awesome. The site was up and running until the early days of the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which focus on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to join the reviewer community. Her appearances have included a variety throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous shows on Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the Channel Awesome family together with Doug Walker.
