Anita Barone

Barone played in The Shoes, an episode of the fourth season of Seinfeld as Gail Cunningham, a chef that wanted Elaine Benes' shoes. In the 90s early on, Barone was a regular on Carol & Company as a co-star alongside Carol Burnett. Barone also played the ex-wife of Geller's character, Carol Willick, in the character's first appearance on Friends. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show to focus on her full-time job. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the initial season (1995-1996) as well as on The War at Home from 2005 until 2007. Barone costarred as a co-star in Daddio (2000). Barone is also known for her roles on television in Desperate homewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone was awarded the 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her work in movie One Last Ride. Barone began her character as mother of Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - three years after The War at Home concluded its run. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones who was the husband of the character played by Barone on two of the episodes.
